How are we handling the Marvel Universe, please? :-)

Just pre-emptively making a case for a few of my noms...

- Female Eru (Silmarillion): The account in the Silmarillion of the creation of the world is canonically only an interpretation; Eru could be anything at all. Also there is apparently a Finnish translation that uses female pronouns for Eru.

- The Withywindle (LOTR): A river, but arguably one with a very "female" energy (Goldberry the River-daughter lives on its banks, and there are references to a mysterious River-woman).

- Nenya (LOTR): A Ring of Power. The One Ring is depicted as almost sentient; Gandalf states in canon that none of the rings should be used lightly, which I extrapolate to mean that the Elven rings have "personalities" too. Nenya is wielded by the canonically female Galadriel, and while -ya isn't strictly a female affix, it isn't male either.

Hi! I want to nominate Jack Pattillo under the fandom "Fake AH Crew & Related Fake Rooster Teeth Associate Groups." Fake AH Crew as a tag redirects to Rooster Teeth/Achievement Hunter RPF, despite being a fictionalized version of the personas played by the real people. While meatspace Jack identifies as a cisgender man, his GTA character is a woman, resulting in the popular depiction of GTA/Fakes-verse Jack as a woman (often a trans woman). Just wanted to give you a heads up before I nominate. I'm happy to elaborate more if necessary. Thanks!

Hello! Couple clarifications for a couple of my noms that might be obscure or unclear:

Nancy Drew (TV 2019): The Algaeca is a female sea spirit, as discussed here: https://nancydrew.fandom.com/wiki/Aglaeca (spoilers at that link)

Hive Mind Series - Janet Edwards: Buzz is female - see photo of her on the cover of the latest book here: https://janetedwards.com/books/borderline/

Hidden Legacy Series: Patricia and Regina Taft are new characters who showed up at the very end of the last book to be released. Their full names are in this snippet from the new book being released in August (spoilers): https://ilona-andrews.com/aha-i-am-awake/

For Star Trek, do the animated continuation of the original series and the movie continuations go with the original series, or should there be a separation?

(I have a leader of the space sirens I’d like to add from the cartoon.)

Hello again! Sorry about this, but I wanted to clarify before any confusion that yes, I did mean to disambiguate characters nominated under the fandom "Drunks & Dragons (Podcast)" with (GAPcast). The podcast was renamed after the fandom tag was canonized, and is now known as Greetings, Adventurers!, which is usually rendered as "gapcast" or "GAPcast".

Trouser roles?

I’m not sure if it’s too late to nominate, but I saw the form is still open, so if you are still accepting nominations, I have a question. If not, feel free to disregard this message. I’d like to nominate Female Annio & Female Sesto, as well as Female Annio & Servilia from La Clemenza di Tito - Mozart/Metastasio/Mazzolà. Servilia is canonically female, so no problem there. Sesto and Annio are canonically male, but both of them are always acted/sung by women. Therefore, one could reasonably interpret them as women who have for whatever reason decided to publicly present themselves as men. The reason could be that it helps them to advance politically/be more able to do the work they want to do, so that they can be in a lesbian relationship without the social backlash, because they feel safer, or any other reason I haven’t thought of. Just to be clear, in any fanworks created for this exchange they would be treated as women and not as trans men or non binary people, although those are also interpretations that one could make.

I realize that almost certainly no one would pick this as they are from a “fandom” with 0 fanworks on the archive, but, one can hope...

I just clicked on the “feed us noms” link and it brought me there. I have attached screenshots. Maybe it worked because I have already submitted some nominations- so it allows you to edit but not start a new one?

Regarding the trouser roles, wonderful! I would like to nominate under the fandom La Clemenza di Tito - Mozart/Metastasio/Mazzolà: Female Sesto, Female Annio, Servilia, Female Sesto & Female Annio, Female Annio & Servilia. Thank you!

The fandom doesn’t exist yet on AO3 so I am making up its tag, and I figured it’s better to put both the original librettist and the one who edited it for Mozart’s version, even though that’s a bit long. If AO3 tag wranglers disagree, it can be changed.
