Nominations are open here.
General Info
-4 fandoms with 4 characters each
-Any cis or trans fictional woman is eligible
-For RPF the individual must have identified as female
-Contemporary RPF must be at least 18 years old, historical RPF has no age limit
-Non-famous friends and family are not eligible
-RPF nominations can be removed from the tagset at the request of the individual
-For borderline cases comment on this post or e-mail me at halloweenmod@gmail.com to explain them to me. A character will be allowed in if a case can be made where a reasonable person can see and understand why another person might interpret the character as female. Accepting the character is not meant as a definitive statement on the character’s gender.
-Canonical female versions of male characters are allowed. For example, Natasha Stark from Earth-3490 is eligible
-Rule 63 and other fanmade genderbends are not eligible
-Character must exist in the canon they are nominated under
-Mod may merge or split related fandoms either at request or on their own
AND vs OR Nominations
This exchange accommodates both people that want any character of a set and people that want all characters from a set. To do this you can nominate groups of up to three female characters in a single character slot. So if you knew that you wanted something like Buffy and Willow and only wanted them together in the same fic/art you would nominate them as “group: Buffy & Willow”. You don’t need to use full and complete names as long as it is clear who you mean. If you say were okay about getting fic/art either about Buffy and Willow or just Buffy by herself then you would nominate “group: Buffy & Willow” and “Buffy Summers” and then when you signed up you would request both.
Nominating and requesting a group does not guarantee you will get a particular relationship type. All it guarantees is that all of the characters in the group must appear somehow in the fic/art. If someone were to offer “Buffy Summers” and “Willow Rosenberg” separately they would not be matched to someone that requested “group: Buffy & Willow” by AO3.
This way everyone gets what they want. You can mix and match individuals and groups in your nomination, requests and offers.
