AND? OR? Why not have both?

OR matching won on a poll by one vote on what was preferred for matching. Would there be any interest if the exchange could accommodate both people that want OR and people that want AND?

How complicated would that make matching, especially for smaller fandoms?

Personally I prefer AND matching, but given the smaller wordcount minimum, I don't mind OR matching either. Basically, either works for me.

It wouldn't make it much more complicated at all. There are two ways that this can be done. One is easier for participants, but more work for me. The other is easier for me and to do matching but will require that participants read and follow directions.

I usually prefer 'OR' because it offers up a lot more in terms of versatility. Granted, I usually only offer fandoms in which I select 'any character' so ...

but whatever the comm (and you) want to do, I'm cool with.

People who want OR are getting that. I have an idea though on how to accommodate people that want AND, or people that want OR for some things and AND for others.
